We are currently interviewing teachers and support staff for the spring semester. Most positions are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with a few additional part-time opportunities available in both our elementary and middle school programs.

If you are interested in joining our school for the spring semester only, please select this option. All positions are part-time, typically one to two days per week, with pay ranging from $20–$30 per hour. Our longest school day runs from 8:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

CHEC Academy is seeking dependable, adaptable individuals who have a heart for serving students and supporting our school community. This is a general application for candidates interested in joining our team as needs arise throughout the school year.

Rather than applying for one specific position, applicants in our Flexible Support Staff Pool may be contacted when temporary, seasonal, or permanent opportunities become available.

Potential assignments may include:

• Substitute Teacher

• Classroom Assistant
• Van Driver
• Front Office Support
• Event or Field Trip Assistance
• Other school support roles as needed

Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive, Christ-centered attitude while serving students, families, and staff.
• Follow school policies and procedures.
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms, grade levels, or responsibilities.
• Provide dependable and professional support where needed.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and encouraging learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with school leadership and staff.

Qualifications

• A heart for serving children and families.
• Flexible, reliable, and willing to assist in various roles.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working with children or in education is preferred but not required for all positions.
• Must successfully pass all required background screenings.
• Additional certifications or licenses may be required for specific assignments (such as van driving).
